Walter Frosch is the two-piece project of Mike Saxer and Rune Dahl Hansen, based in Schaffhausen, Switzerland. Pulling from the rich legacy of Swiss synth pioneers like Grauzone and Mittageisen and contemporary, narcotized dream-pop, Walter Frosch creates sonic landscapes brimming with icy tones, ghostly club percussion, and electronic haze.
On their latest release, Star 10110, the duo explores icy downtempo rhythms, rapturous synthpop, and jagged post-punk undertones that simmer and snarl.
